today morning wake up very early....7 am...why...

Penang may have theme park

PENANG: Penang may soon have a theme park, complete with a roller coaster and other fun rides similar to those in Genting High-lands.

State Tourism Development and Environment Committee chairman Teng Chang Yeow said the state had endorsed a proposal by a Japanese company to set up the theme park on a 3.2ha site near the Auto City in Juru.

He said the company had expres-sed interest in setting up the park on the privately owned land due to its accessible location.

“The theme park will have 28 different attractions, some of them similar to the ones we have in Genting,” Teng elaborated.

“The state government wel-comes the idea of a theme park as it will be a new tourism product for the state. We gave our endorse-ment last week during the tourism product committee meeting.

“However, the company must seek approval from DOSH (Depart-ment of Occupational Safety and Health), the local authorities and the Customs Department. DOSH will be looking into the safety of the equipment.”

Teng was speaking to newsmen after jointly opening the Thai Song-kran festival 2007 with Deputy Consul General of Thailand Wasin Dhamavasi at Queensbay Mall yes-terday. The two-week festival was jointly organised by Kenlink and Alila Star Enterprise.

Teng said the state government was willing to promote the Songkran Festival on a larger scale.

“The state has supported the Ja-panese Bon Odori events. Similarly, we will also support Thai traditio-nal festivals,” he said.

Alila Star managing director Siri-nya Koram said many Thai people, especially those from South Thail-and would be attracted to visit Penang.

“South Thailand has many at-tractions but because of the unrest, it is becoming difficult for us to attract foreign tourists,” he said.

Anyway, yesterday, 10/12/2007(Monday), I went dinner to one of my favourite place....

isn't it nice??? I love it so much...The decorations...Lightings...atmosphere there...food there...there are really so many choices of food there...Wat i like the most will be OLD TOWN Restaurant...the food there...best in Singapore and JB some said Penang...Haha.....

well....The food there is really nice...you may wonder how good is the food? i can give you an assurance.....99.999%....!!! don't believe it？Watch these pics below and you will start to feel hungry...Haha..

see the coffee? wa...tell you ah.... the coffee is the best...especially when it is served cold...i mean with ice la....but yesterday...i very angry lo...the coffee i ordered for half an hour still didn't served yet...but i can understand since the business is so so good.......................





the food there also very very mouth-tempting....so delicious...I like Nasi Lemak Special and Curry mee the most...My dad like Ipoh Ho Fun...My Mom like the Prawn Mee and my sister like the Lam Mee.....Conclusion, all the food are GOOD!!!!

But i still prefer Nasi Lemak Special...I'm So HUNGRY now looking at the food pictures....Haha...


After having a pleasant dinner in OLD TOWN, we went walking surrounding the so called PARK... these are a few nice pics i took...
isn't the Christmas tree look nice and grand too? too bad you were not there...Because the Christmas tree will spin actually and different colours of lights lit up randomly....Very very nice one ah....

Then at nite ...i went back and read Undang to prepare for tommorow test....

On The First Day In The First Post....

This is my first post...well....felt a bit nervous though..haha..just joking la..anyway 6 December 2007 is a very special date for me in fact for the whole class and some of my best friends.....As for your information, today is the day for 5SA3 gathering , it is a graduation gathering...

"Is it Miss Grace There, Little Cottage?" I asked through the phone.Actually I'm booking a place for my classmates and friends in a small restaurant called 'Little Cottage Cafe'. Why? you might ask. Firstly, the food there is the perfect and most mouth-watering in Penang island.They serve different varieties of western cuisine ranging from linguine, spaghetti, Turkey ham, grill chicken, fish, seafoods, lamb and even beef.Secondly the price is quite reasonable.We have to pay only RM 17 per person to enjoy a 5-course set lunch. Isn't that great????

'I'll confirmed with you the attendance before the day, is it okay for you?' I asked Grace through the phone one week earlier. " Why do you need so many days to confirm?" she asked in a silly tone. You all know la, i must check and ask so many times only you all can confirm to come or not. Some even sillier, if xx got go then i go lo...if xx don't go, then i also cannot go already.....LAME!!!!

But at last, with my potential, determination and bla bla bla, i finally confirmed total number of attendance. 29 including Cong Ai, Yi Ling and Erene teacher. I woke up 9 that morning, printing papers for afterwards use. I called everyone to confirm....See, how responsible I am...!! Haha...

By the way, everyone reached there at about 12.30pm and sat down waiting for our "V.I.P." to come....ERENE lo!!! so late one...Ayo.. Erene bought us a "Happy Graduation Cake" as shown above...Yi Ling arrived later then...Everyone started to order their main courses and of course, eat lo.....YUMMY!! i have ordered my favourite dish-Monte Cristo Chicken...Still so DelicioUs!!!
After tat, Cong Ai suggested some very lame ' songs' for us to sing....something like:
'祝我毕业快乐。。。。。。。。‘in a stupid happy birthday song tone...so COLD....then...
