Chinese New Year 2009

First and Foremost,
New year always starts with decoration right?
At least that is true for me and in my family..no decorations?
mean no Chinese new year mood mean no fun during new year..lol..






And then,
The First Day of CNY,
as usual, all relatives gather around grandma's house..





At night,
have Nasi Kandar in Grandma'a House again..







Then,
2nd 3rd 4th day went off smoothly..
nothing much happened..
but simple fun..!!

5th day,
went out lunch with Choong Ai, Nic, and Derrick
at Tao Cuisine, E Gate.










ignore that..lol..sensored..lol
the 6th day, which is a Saturday,
went to Air Itam Bat Temple to pray..




then,
the 8th day is another big day..!!!
cos Chinese pray "Sky God" on the 9th...
and we, mortals, used to have traditions to pray on 8th midnight..
lol..

for my family,
this day is extremely important..
cos we are hokkien, and hokkien respect "sky god" very much..

have to put all things on a red table..(tradition)
for my dad, roast pig is a must..
12 midnight, lit up fire crackers

sang karaoke, relatives went back at about 3am, slept at 5 am..lol
